10-Minute Garlic Green Beans Stir-fry
Introduction:
"Looking for a vegetable side dish that's faster than takeout? These Garlic Green Beans are crispy, savory, and packed with flavor. They're the perfect healthy and easy weeknight side that goes with any Asian-inspired main course."Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp neutral oil (like avocado or vegetable oil)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Optional: 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Wash the green beans and trim the ends. Pat them completely dry with a towel (this helps them get crispy).
Heat the neutral oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the green beans and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until they are bright green and slightly charred in spots.
Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic!
Turn off the heat. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and toss everything together until the green beans are evenly coated.
Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
💡 Pro-Tip: For tender-crisp beans, don't overcrowd the pan. If you need to cook more than one pound, work in batches for the best results.
